Construction steps of ceramic tile hollow drum grouting syringe

1. Statistics of empty drum parts:
Before construction:
①Hit the wall or floor with a small hammer.
②Make detailed statistics.
③Mark the position of the empty drum.

2. Drilling positioning:
It is essential to locate and arrange the hole positions, which will directly affect grouting. It is recommended to set for a master with rich construction experience to design and find each hollow drum's drilling position.

3. Permeability test:
Before using a high-pressure pump for grouting, the borehole's permeability must be tested to ensure the permeability of the borehole and the grouting can be smoothly driven down.

4. Crack closure:
Before grouting, the board seams and tile gaps should be sealed. In this way, the grout will not flow out when the grouting is pressurized during construction.

5. Pressure grouting:
Use a special grouting nozzle, plus low-pressure or high-pressure grouting equipment, to press the grouting resin into the grout hole evenly.

6. Check the fullness:
When grouting, it is recommended to hit with a small hammer while checking the grout's flow direction and fullness.

7. The grouting resin has high curing strength and is difficult to clean. To clean up the spilt polish at any time, can wipe it off with a rag and ethanol.

8. After the hollow-drum grouting syringe is used, the grouting resin's hardening time takes about two days, and you must not step on it at will.

What are the reasons for the hollowing of tiles:
1. Caused by construction technology
Wet-laid tiles are prone to hollowing. Due to the cement mortar's high moisture content during wet paving, the water penetrates the base layer, and a lot of cavities are formed after drying. As a result, the floor tiles and the base layer cannot be fully bonded, and the hollowing phenomenon occurs.

2. Construction of technical issues
The grassroots has not been thoroughly cleaned, and there are still sand particles. The cement mortar is not integrated with the grassroots, and hollowing occurs after a long time.

3. Cut corners
In order to save time and materials during construction, only the four corners of the tiles were smeared with sand ash and then laid. Because there is no sand ash in the middle of the tiles, it will naturally cause bulging after a long time.

How to use tile grout？
1. First, clean up the jointing agent with a paper-knife
2. After removing the jointing agent, if the paper-knife can go deep, empty drums can be found
3. Reconcile the cement slurry. Note that it is only cement slurry; no sand is needed. The sand particles are large, which is not conducive to grouting. Put the grout on the joints of the bricks
4. Use a small shovel to cut the gap to promote the cement slurry to enter
5. The cement slurry is very dilute, mainly through the water to bring the slurry into the bottom of the tile, the water penetrates the sand base, and the cement stops on the surface of the sand base, thereby repairing the hollow drum
6. Work slowly until the cement slurry no longer seeps, and it will take about an hour before and after
7. Clean up the cement slurry
8. Mending joint sealant-fill in wet joint sealant by hand
9. Mending grout-wipe dry with dry grout
10. After filling the space, ensure that the cement cannot be stepped on before it dries.
