The caulking agent can be used to decorate the gaps between ceramic tiles, stone, mosaic, glass, wood, aluminum-plastic panels and other materials. It has the advantages of waterproof, impermeable, and oil-free. So how to use tile grout?

1. In order to catch up with the construction progress, some workers use the caulking agent after the tiles are laid, which does not meet the requirements. To be on the safe side, the caulk can only be filled 48 hours after the tiles have been laid. During this period, everyone should keep the indoor air dry. If you encounter rainy days, the time will be longer. This is to allow the water vapor in the tiles to spread out along the gap and dry out. If you apply the caulk before it is dry, it will seal the moisture inside and cause mold inside the tiles. This will dye the caulk yellow or black.

1. Everyone first clean up the parts that need to be caulked. There is no debris or stagnant water. It is best to be dry and flat.

2. Stir the clean water and the caulking mortar thoroughly (water-cement ratio is about 1:3:5) and let it stand for 5-10 minutes before use.

3. Use a bottom ash spoon to squeeze the mixed caulking agent into the reserved joint along the diagonal of the tile, compact it with a rubber putty knife, and use a micro The wet sponge will clean up the excess caulk on the surface of the tiles.

4. After 24 hours, use a dry cloth for further cleaning. The cured tile grout has a waterproof function.
