KASTAR 579 is a carbon-based, silicone-modified reactive resin adhesive (Type R) designed for high-demand bonding scenarios. It is especially suitable for laying large-format, low-absorption ceramic tiles, stone, and slabs, and is ideal for tile-on-tile bonding during renovation. Beyond tile applications, it bonds and reinforces various building materials (bricks, prefabricated wall panels, foamed ceramic moldings) with smooth shear walls and metal substrates, and also prevents cracking at joints of building materials. The adhesive film has excellent flexibility, freeze-thaw cycle resistance (-30℃ anti-freezing), high-temperature resistance (withstands boiling at 100℃), water resistance, aging resistance, and resistance to thermal expansion and contraction. It cures quickly, enabling load-bearing within 3 days at room temperature, and requires no treatment of tile release agents, simplifying construction.
